How To Use BumperCar » The Favorites Bar

Below the main toolbar is a Favorites bar. By default, it appears below the navigation toolbar in a BumperCar browser window. you can toggle its visibility by choosing Hide/Show Favorites Bar from the Bookmarks menu.

The Favorites bar is an extension of your personal bookmarks; since it always appears at the top of the browser window, it's a convenient place to put bookmarks for web sites you access often.

To add a URL or link to your Favorites, drag it onto the bar, or put it in the Favorites folder in your personal bookmarks file.

To follow a URL that's on your Favorites bar, click on it. If a folder appears on the bar, clicking on it will produce a drop-down menu from which you can choose a URL to follow.

To rearrange the links on the Favorites bar, drag them around. To remove a link from the bar, Control-click on it and choose Delete from the contextual menu, or move it to another part of your bookmarks list.

The Favorites bar still has all the functionality of a bookmarks list, including automatic change checking. But since clicking a favorite on the bar follows its URL, editing works a little differently: you'll have to either use the contextual menu that pops up when you Control-click a favorite, or do your editing in the Bookmarks window/drawer.
